VSAR-MK2 Assault Carbine, Civilian Model

The VSAR-MK2 Assault Carbine is an older model of the more common place MK6 variant in current circulation throughout the United Federations. It features a sleek plastic frame with a shortened barrel for close quarters engagements, a twelve round pressed metal magazine, top and bottom RIS, and a sturdy stock. Like all VSAR models, it was designed to be highly modifiable so it could be made to fit your ideal situation. Currently the MK2 is no longer in production by official sources and is prized as something of a trophy gun in the federations. Most civilian manufacturers tend to keep the MK2 in production as it is highly popular for its versatility. Though Civilian models are designed to be incapable of automatic fire. A typical practice for most civilian manufacturers, though if you are willing to pay an extra 1000 Credits it can be shipped with the parts necessary for it to be converted into an automatic format.
